The Thadingyut Festival (September 20, 2021)
Thadingyut is the lighting festival in Myanmar. It is October. It falls on the Full Moon day of Thadingyut. We light candles in the streets and houses. We go to the pagodas and offer the candle lights. We are very happy.

My School Library
My school is blessed with a wonderful library. It is pleasure to see students studying quietly. I usually go to my school library and read many good books whenever I am free. I get general knowledge about the world and thinking skills to solve problems in studies and in life by reading books. So, a place I like best in my school is my school library.

My Ordination
These are many good days in my life. Between them, the day I never forget is the day I became a novice. My lovely parents donated for entering into the state of a novice.

Offering Flowers 1st Jan. 2016
I am the eldest daughter of my family, and my grandmother teaches me how to clean our room. I always help my grandmother when she washes the flower vases and watering cups and changes new flowers for Buddha. Then we offer flowers, light and fruits to Buddha together every day. I love my grandmother very much. She is a role model of my family.

A Trip to the Dattaw Chaink Waterfall in Pyin Oo Lwin

I have the hobby of going on trips during summer vacation. The Dattaw Chaink waterfall in the town of Pyin Oo Lwin is a happy place for me. I want to invite you to see the waterfalls of Myanmar.

Saturday, February 27 The Ta-Baung festival
The Ta-Baung Festival is always held at the Thein-Daw-Gyi pagoda on the full moon day of Ta-Baung. I went there with my mother. We made an offering to the Lord Buddha with flowers and candles and donated some money. Mother bought me a Myanmar princess puppet. I thanked her.

My Birthday Charity

Today was my birthday. I took some rice and curry that my mother cooked and gave them to the monks at the monastery. I was happy to have the chance to do a good deed. I look forward to serving the monks like that again next year.

Tuesday, November 1: A useful Gift
I study everyday. I have my own room to study at home. I love to sit at my desk beside the bright lamp (my birthday present) and study. I have promised my parents that I will work hard to get a good grade on the test.

A Visit to a Pagoda: July 3, 2004
Whenever I visit the pagoda near my house, I ring the big bell on the platform of the pagoda. My mother always says that the sound of the bell I ring is very pleasant.

The Place I Want to Go
I have often seen the moat aroundMandalay Castle on television, and I really want to see it in person. I oftenask my mother to take me there, but she is always busy. When I see the moat ontelevision, I feel like I am there.

The full moon of Tazaungmon
2 November, 1997.
On the full moon of Tazaungmon (the eighth month of the Myanmar calendar) there were many stars in the sky. I tried to count them but there were too many. The moon was completely round and shining brightly.

Monday, December 4, 1995
I was very happy dressed up in a Rakhine (one of national races of Myanmar) traditional costume holding one end of the ribbon at the opening ceremony of the computer unit at our school. I can't say how much our school will improve, but I know a great future lies ahead of us.
