The happiest moment in my life was when my little brother was born. When I first saw my sleeping brother's tiny arms and legs, he looked like a doll.
March 21, Thursday.
Today is a special holiday. Nauryz is a New Year celebration of Eastern peoples. In the morning I smell delicious baursaks. Mother cooks the traditional Nauryz Kozhe of seven ingredients: water, salt, meat, rice, kurt, airan and wheat. I always look forward to Nauryz Kozhe. Grandma says if you eat a bowl of Kozhe you will be full for the rest of the year. Grandma put on a national dress and a kimeshek. In the evening we have guests. We sit at a large dastarkhan.
This is my school. I go to a children's art school. Our lessons are interesting. Babur and Merey are my friends. Merey is a good painter. In the future we want to be excellent painters like Kasteyev, a famous painter of our grandparents' generation.
The Kazakhs have festivals. This is Nauryz, a festival that everyone has been looking forward to. Nauryz is a spring festival. It is the festival of the spring equinox, and then day and the night are the same length. People celebrate this festival in Islamic nations. Nauryz is a festival for celebrating the New Year on the traditional calendar, and everyone eats Nauryz kozhe rice porridge on this day.
I love to fish. My little brother and I competed to catch the most fish at the foot of Mt. Turgen. We had a lot of fun, and I won. Afterward, we released all the fish back into the water. My dream came true.

This is my hobby group! We draw, listen to music, and sing songs. Sometimes, we are naughty. We have a cat, Yasha. He escaped into another room.
A funny thing happened when I visited by grandfather's village. I started dancing in the pasture, and all the animals stopped and stared at me.
